Sultan's Brunei Visits
The Bruneian press archive documented two earlier visits by Sultan Haitham bin Tariq to Brunei Darussalam, when he was Minister of Heritage and Culture: the first in June 2004 and the second in March 2014, which lasted four days. During the 2004 visit, the two countries signed a memorandum of understanding on cultural cooperation. The 2014 visit included a meeting with the Sultan of Brunei and tours of the National Service Programme and historical, cultural and youth centres.
