Ruwi Finance Hub Revamp
Muscat Municipality is working to develop and beautify the Financial Market District in the Ruwi area of the Wilayat of Muttrah. The project is 40% complete and covers an area of more than 290,000 square metres. The work includes planting more than 260 trees, installing or replacing over 290 lighting units, upgrading sidewalks, and creating a two-kilometre promenade along with a running and cycling track. The project also includes a pedestrian bridge over the wadi, seating areas, public facilities, kiosks, restrooms and a children’s play area.
