Eric Trump, the son of U.S. President Donald Trump, sparked widespread controversy after posting a video showing his new passport, which features a picture of his father and his signature in gold above the Declaration of Independence document, in celebration of the U.S. Independence Day commemorations. While supporters admired the design of the document and regarded Trump's image as a symbol of power, critics attacked the move, describing it as an expression of vanity and arrogance that contradicts the historical significance of the document, which represents liberation from individual authority. This exceptional passport was issued in a limited quantity and is only available through in-person attendance in Washington, as part of Trump's efforts to celebrate the 250th anniversary of America's founding.
