Al-Karamah crossing case updates
Recent developments at the Al Karama crossing have confirmed that the Israeli Airports Authority has doubled the number of Palestinian trucks departing daily from 10 to 20 trucks starting next week, aimed at revitalizing the Palestinian economy, which has been in a recession for three years. Nevertheless, challenges remain regarding the extension of operating hours at the crossing, as Israeli authorities have yet to submit a specific proposal. The court's deadline in November threatens to worsen the crisis if no solutions are reached. Palestinian parties hope to achieve progress soon to improve the movement of goods and people, also paying attention to allowing trucks coming from Jordan to transport goods back and forth, in order to boost trade flows and support the local economy.
