Jordanian lawyer and attorney Mohammed Al-Sibahi called for adopting a strategy that combines military measures with legal actions to confront the threat of forcibly displacing Palestinians from the West Bank to Jordan. He conditioned this by reclassifying the West Bank as "Occupied Jordanian Territory" as a legal and sovereign step to counter the threat. He warned that escalating arming of settlers and supporting the Israeli army could lead to widespread clashes and turn the region into a source of threat to Jordan's national security. Al-Sibahi also proposed canceling the 1988 decision to sever administrative and legal ties as a temporary strategic measure aimed at protecting Palestinian sovereignty and national identity, along with implementing deterrent military plans to counter any potential threats.
