Since the beginning of the year, the Jerusalem Governorate has witnessed an increase in the number of martyrs, reaching 17. This follows the martyrdom of young Ibrahim Al-Hindi (33 years old) at dawn today due to being shot by occupation forces at Bab al-Amud. This is part of the policy of field executions and extrajudicial killings practiced by the occupation forces against Palestinians. Authorities confirmed that the killing of Al-Hindi constitutes a gross violation of international law and is considered a crime against humanity. He is the 53rd martyr whose body has been held by the occupation authorities since 1967. Additionally, a ban has been imposed on publishing details about his martyrdom.
