The author shares his experience as a survivor of Saydnaya Prison in Syria, where he endured brutal torture, especially an attempt by the guards to deprive him of the ability to reproduce. After years, this suffering culminated in the birth of his child, which he describes as a victory over attempts to kill hope and the will to multiply. He explains that the effects of detention are not easily erased and remain present in memories and psychological scars. He concludes with a message to his former captor, emphasizing that his ability to conceive and the birth of his child represent a triumph over the attempt to destroy his life.
