The European Commission spokesperson firmly stated that the European Union rejects the forced displacement of Palestinians in the Gaza Strip and opposes any attempts at demographic or regional changes there. He clarified that the EU aligns with United Nations Security Council Resolution 2735 and supports unifying the two areas under the administration of the Palestinian Authority as part of the vision for establishing an independent Palestinian state.
