EU rejects occupation ministers' Gaza displacement claims
The European Union rejected Israel's decision to expand settlements in the West Bank, warning that the escalating Israeli statements and actions regarding the displacement of Gaza residents reveal the occupation's adherence to dangerous plans that threaten stability and humanitarian conditions. The situation in Gaza and the West Bank is rapidly deteriorating on the humanitarian front. The Union expressed concern over the increasing targeting of humanitarian workers amid ongoing military escalation, which has resulted in the martyrdom of six people and injuries to others due to Israeli shelling, along with gunfire in Gaza. Tensions have also risen with Iran preparing to move towards the Strait of Hormuz, asserting control over the region.
