Martyrs and ceasefire breaches impact Israeli front
The report shows the continuation of military escalation in the Gaza Strip, where both the Palestinian and Israeli sides have experienced ongoing airstrikes and shootings resulting in the martyrdom of Palestinians and the injury of dozens, despite the ceasefire coming into effect. Operations are focused on various areas, including Khan Younis and Gaza, with ongoing field violations by Israeli forces, and details about the martyrdom of members of the Islamic Jihad movement. Politically, the issue of displacement has returned to the forefront after statements by two Israeli security ministers discussing plans to evacuate around 250,000 Palestinians over the course of a year, with efforts by Israel to facilitate the transfer of residents by sea and air. Hamas has warned of the dangers of these statements, emphasizing that such displacement operations violate international law and contribute to increasing instability in the sector, which is already suffering from widespread destruction and ongoing humanitarian deterioration.
