The Follow-up Committee for the Palestinian National Council Elections in Kuwait held a meeting with the Fatah Movement branch, attended by Palestinian and Kuwaiti officials. The discussion focused on the mechanisms for selecting representatives of the Palestinian community in Kuwait through the electoral college. Emphasis was placed on expanding the participation base to ensure inclusive representation, especially for women and youth, and on strengthening Palestinian unity in representation. It was also reaffirmed that the Palestinian Liberation Organization remains the sole legitimate representative of the Palestinian people. These meetings are part of the preparations for the Palestinian National Council elections abroad, aimed at enhancing Palestinian participation in shaping the political system.
