Thousands Attend Friday Prayers at Al-Aqsa
Tens of thousands of worshippers performed Friday prayers at Al-Aqsa Mosque, despite the Israeli occupation forces' measures that were deployed at checkpoints and streets across Jerusalem, with the number of worshippers reaching approximately 75,000 according to the Islamic Endowments Authority. The prayer took place amid restrictions on the faithful and security challenges, amid ongoing protests and rising tensions in Jerusalem and its surroundings. This escalation is part of the ongoing confrontations and skirmishes between Palestinians and Israeli forces.
