Disaster from space Angelina Jolie supports Gaza
Angelina Jolie highlighted the extent of destruction in the Gaza Strip following the war, using satellite images that show the destruction of 82% of buildings by June 2026, with a third classified as completely destroyed. She pointed out that the satellite imagery does not fully reflect the humanitarian situation, noting that approximately 1.98 million people (94% of the population) are living in dire conditions and are in urgent need of shelter and medical assistance before winter. She called for the rapid delivery of humanitarian aid and the necessary conditions to rebuild.
