Ghnam reviews Palestine updates with Egyptian envoy
The article discussed meetings between Dr. Leila Ghannam, the Governor of Ramallah and Al-Bireh, and the new Egyptian ambassador, Bassem Abdelhadi. They reviewed the latest developments in Palestine and the challenges posed by Israeli escalation. Ghannam pointed to the increasing assaults by the occupation army and settlers, especially in Ramallah, including invasions and attacks on farmers and their properties, turning the olive harvest season into a period of killing and intimidation. She emphasized the Palestinian leadership’s insistence on demanding elections to protect national unity, while the Egyptian ambassador reaffirmed Egypt’s ongoing support for the rights of the Palestinian people and the promotion of bilateral cooperation.
