Yemeni forces claim Houthi retreat in key areas
Yemeni forces continue their progress on the southern front of Ma'rib as part of Operation "Fajr Yemen." The battles have resulted in the dislodging of the Houthis from strategic areas, leading to numerous casualties, including killed, wounded, and captured fighters, as well as the destruction of military vehicles and equipment, and the downing of a drone belonging to the Houthis. The Houthi forces have also thwarted attempts to recapture the liberated sites and forced the attackers to retreat. Clashes persist across multiple fronts. Meanwhile, tensions in Yemen are escalating, with government forces announcing control over Bab al-Mandab and launching operations in Sana'a, while the Houthis deny any territorial advances by the government.
