West Bank and Jerusalem: Incursions Arrests and Demolitions
Israeli occupation forces carried out several raid and arrest operations in the West Bank early Wednesday morning, including in Nablus and Jenin. During these operations, they destroyed and removed memorial figures and statues dedicated to the martyrs, especially in Nablus where the Martyrs’ Monument at the Martyrs’ Square was shattered. They also demolished a monument in Yabad, Jenin. These actions are part of Israel’s escalation against memorial symbols and the martyrs’ memories. The operations included destroying photos and searching homes, aimed at monitoring and restricting Palestinian national activities.
