Israeli officer killed, five soldiers injured in Lebanon
An Israeli officer was killed and three soldiers were lightly injured in an operational incident in southern Lebanon, which is believed to have resulted from a military vehicle overturn in the Litani River area. Additionally, two soldiers sustained minor injuries due to improper use of ammunition in another incident in the same region. Since the start of the war on Lebanon in March, 46 Israeli officers and soldiers have been killed in operational accidents, despite Israeli forces continuing to violate the ceasefire and maintain control over southern Lebanese territories despite political understandings.
