Six civilians killed in Gaza strikes
Gaza has experienced a fierce wave of Israeli escalation, resulting in the martyrdom of six citizens and injuries to dozens due to shelling and gunfire by Israeli forces. This includes the destruction of fishing boats and the killing of civilians, among them an infant. Additionally, extensive demolition operations have taken place in the area. The human rights center documented the martyrdom of 235 fishermen and the destruction of 1,810 boats over the period, amid Palestinian accusations that Israel is paving the way for a new attack on hospitals and civilian areas in the sector. International calls to halt the escalation are growing, while Israel continues to expand its operations in Gaza. Palestinian factions accuse the occupation of attempting to impose a policy of blockade and to kill hopes of ending the dire humanitarian situation.
