Settlers attack Olive Pickers west of Ramallah and Deir Ballut with four arrests in Deir Istiya
During the olive harvest season, the towns of Ramallah and Silwan witnessed violent attacks by settlers, resulting in injuries and fractures to two Palestinian citizens. Additionally, four others were detained, including a 74-year-old elderly man. The settlers stormed farms in Deir Bzeid and Deir Balout, attacking the farmers with beatings, spraying them with pepper spray, and forcing them to abandon their lands. These increasing assaults threaten the livelihoods of Palestinian families and negatively impact the olive season.
