Riyadh Airport Injuries as Western Nations Urge Caution
The Houthis in Yemen launched a missile targeting King Khalid Airport in Riyadh, resulting in dozens of passengers being injured, including five who are in intensive care. The attacks prompted many Western countries to warn their citizens to stay away from the airport. This comes as part of the Houthis' escalation of their attacks on Saudi territory, amid a region witnessing an increase in the Yemen conflict and intensified strikes by the Saudi-led coalition. Clashes continue around the Bab el-Mandeb Strait, and government forces are reclaiming positions, while the Houthis respond by imposing a naval blockade on Saudi Arabia and resuming attacks on its facilities.
