October 7 Revived Palestine's Global Role
Palestine has experienced significant strategic shifts over the past two years. Palestinian resistance, led by Sennwar, managed to bring the Palestinian cause back to the global forefront following the events of October 7, 2023, which was dubbed "The Flood of Al-Aqsa." This event demonstrated the strength and transformation of the resistance, exposed the weaknesses of Israeli intelligence, and revealed changes in modern warfare concepts. During this period, eight Palestinians were martyred and dozens were injured in Israeli airstrikes and confrontations. The occupation controls 18% of the West Bank and maintains 185 settlement outposts. The bombings have also resulted in the destruction of homes and an increase in martyrs, amid Israeli threats to launch new attacks on Gaza and its medical institutions.
