Army reports killing 4 Hamas members in Gaza
The Israeli army announced the assassination of four Hamas members in airstrikes on the Gaza Strip over the past three days. Among those targeted are two individuals who participated in the October 7, 2023 attack: Mahmoud Khaled Mohammed Madhoun, a member of the elite unit of the Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades, and another leader involved in planning the rebuilding of Hamas's military capabilities. Israel confirms that these individuals were involved in activities that violate the ceasefire by escalating tensions, and the army is conducting ongoing campaigns to target elements that pose a security threat.
