US Defense Secretary's Secret Israel Visit
American Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin's visit to Israel focused on discussing the prospects of resuming military operations against Iran, especially in light of reports about American and Israeli preparations to counter Iran's nuclear activities. Austin met with Netanyahu at the U.S. military base in Ovda, southern Israel, where concerns were discussed over Iran's potential reactivation of its nuclear program and the possibility of targeting Iranian nuclear and military sites. During the meeting, Trump offered some encouragement without giving final approval for an attack. These developments come ahead of the Israeli elections, amid an atmosphere of tensions and varying positions regarding confronting Iran's nuclear ambitions.
