Occupation forces detain youths in Silwad amid clashes
The news reports an escalation in settler attacks against Palestinians in the West Bank, where, in just one day, 20 assaults were carried out against farmers and their lands. These included theft of olive harvests, arson of homes and beehives, cutting of olive trees, and attacks on olive harvesters accompanied by the theft of their crops. Farmers and the agricultural environment are also facing increasing threats from settlers and occupation forces, amidst a rising tide of abuses linked to accelerated settlement expansion. This reflects a worsening situation and growing violence in the occupied Palestinian territories.
