Israeli occupation forces have continued their assault on the city of Hebron for a ninth day, sending reinforcements to the Deir Baha area west of the city, raiding and vandalizing homes, and forcing families to flee. They also blew up the homes of the two martyrs, Ahmad and Hamouda al-Ja’bah. More than 780 families have been affected, 537 of them forcibly displaced. Around 5,000 residents face siege and displacement, and more than 115 have been arrested since the assault began. The Chamber of Commerce estimated direct losses at between 10 and 12 million shekels a day, while education was disrupted last week for around 262,000 students across 589 schools in the governorate.
