Two Gaza Teachers Killed
Gaza’s Ministry of Education and Higher Education announced on Saturday, October 31, 2026, the deaths of teachers Wael Muslim and Diaa Abu al-Rous in Israeli attacks. Muslim died from injuries sustained in an earlier attack, while Abu al-Rous was killed in an airstrike as he was on his way to school. The ministry warned that attacks on teachers, students and education workers threaten the continuity of education and the future of Palestinian generations. It called on the international community and UN and human rights organizations to provide protection and hold those responsible for the attacks accountable.
