Saudi Oil Threats Rise
Saudi air defenses intercepted a ballistic missile and an explosive-laden drone launched by the Houthis toward the kingdom’s south. Authorities issued early warning alerts in Abha, Khamis Mushait and Jazan before announcing that the danger had passed. The incident came alongside Houthi threats to target Aramco facilities and a warning to airlines against using Saudi airspace, except for the airspace around Mecca and Medina. The coalition had announced strikes on Houthi sites and military capabilities in Hodeidah and Dhamar, as tensions escalated and efforts to extend the truce stalled.
