Iran issues safety advice
Iranian state television and media outlets published guidance for citizens on what to do in the event of a nuclear explosion, amid mounting tensions and fears that the military confrontation could widen. The instructions advised people not to look directly at the flash and to take shelter immediately. If entering a building was not possible, they were advised to lie down behind cover and protect their head and face, then enter the nearest building once the blast wave had passed. They were also told to avoid cars and not to stay outside to watch or film.
