Israeli President Isaac Herzog received the official results of last week’s Knesset election on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Central Elections Committee Chairman Noam Solberg warned against attempts to cast doubt on the results, stressing that they were binding and that objections and complaints had been limited and did not involve anything affecting the Arab community’s participation in the vote. Herzog expressed confidence in the security agencies and law-enforcement authorities as they investigate allegations of foreign interference, while warning against making sweeping accusations against the Arab community. He urged the parties to avoid holding another election and to work toward forming a stable government.
