Israeli President Isaac Herzog received the official results on Wednesday of the Knesset election held a week earlier. The head of the Central Elections Committee, Judge Noam Sohlberg, said complaints and objections had been limited and had not affected Arab citizens’ participation, calling for the results and the rules of democracy to be respected. Herzog said he was confident that the security agencies and law-enforcement authorities could address allegations of foreign interference. He warned against generalizing about the Arab community and stressed the importance of forming a stable government.
