The Somali Armed Forces, in collaboration with their international partners, conducted airstrikes targeting hideouts and weapon warehouses of Al-Shabaab in the Gudi area of Lower Shabelle province in the southeastern part of the country. The strikes resulted in the deaths of 35 militants and injuries to 20 others, accompanied by explosions that confirmed the presence of a stockpile of ammunition and explosive materials. This comes as part of the escalating military operations against the group in the region to strengthen security and stability.
