Al-Shura's Key Achievements for the Nation

The ordinary inaugural session of the second legislative term of the Shura Council in Qatar witnessed numerous legislative and supervisory achievements. These included holding 36 sessions that discussed important draft laws and requests for discussions related to societal issues, in addition to reviewing reports and ministerial plans. The council also actively participated in regional and international parliamentary conferences, achieving great success by including an agenda item supporting a ceasefire and peace in the Middle East through a decisive vote. These accomplishments come within the framework of strengthening Qatar’s position and role in parliamentary diplomacy and serving the country's interests in accordance with Qatar National Vision 2030.
