The Iraqi Minister of Oil, Basem Mohammed Khudair, confirmed that the daily oil export rate in September reached 3 million barrels. There are future plans to increase exports through Syria and the Turkish Ceyhan port to over one million barrels. Iraq is committed to OPEC’s production ceiling of 4.2 million barrels per day and is working to improve its export capabilities by enhancing infrastructure, including constructing new refineries and expanding export networks. The ministry also focuses on diversifying export outlets, investing in gas development, reducing flaring, and inviting investors to participate in projects to develop the oil sector and refineries.
