Qatar criticizes Iran on Arab attacks
Qatar firmly condemned Iranian attacks on the territories of Arab countries, including Jordan, Bahrain, Kuwait, and the United Arab Emirates, considering them a blatant violation of sovereign states and a breach of international law. It also condemned the ongoing targeting by the Houthi group of civilian ships in the Red Sea and the attacks on Saudi Arabia, reaffirming its full solidarity with the Kingdom. The statement pointed out that Iranian assaults threaten regional security and pose risks to international navigation. It called for a return to dialogue and a halt to escalation to prevent the escalation of regional crises. Additionally, Qatar emphasized that the Palestinian cause remains a priority, and that Israeli escalation and continued forced displacement threaten peace, stressing the need to implement a two-state solution based on UN resolutions and international legitimacy.
