In Iraq, authorities announced the killing of two ISIS members in an airstrike in Diyala Province. The strike targeted three ISIS sites in the Hamrin Hills, destroying them completely. The Iraqi aircraft, F-16s, carried out the attack based on intelligence information. Additionally, security forces closed Lake Hamrin and prevented fishermen from entering after attempts by the organization to kidnap fishermen, reflecting ongoing security operations against the group's cells despite Iraq's declaration of victory over it in 2017.
