Approximately 240 settlers stormed the Al-Aqsa Mosque through the Bab al-Magharibah gate under heavy protection from the Israeli occupation police. They carried out provocative tours and performed Talmudic rituals during Jewish celebrations. This incursion occurs in the context of the occupation exploiting Jewish religious occasions to impose restrictions on Palestinian movement and tighten measures against them, amid ongoing widespread military restrictions around the mosque and the Old City of Jerusalem.
