UN Warns of Gaza War Risks
The United Nations has warned of the dangers of returning to war in Gaza, emphasizing the necessity of resuming the peace process and ending the occupation to achieve comprehensive stability. Ramez Akkobrov stated that the risks of escalation are greater than ever, pointing out that the situation in the West Bank is also on the verge of explosion due to ongoing threats and economic difficulties, which undermine the foundations of the future Palestinian state. He stressed the importance of making a ceasefire the basis for political and economic recovery, and that international community support for the two-state solution should translate into concrete measures on the ground.
