Radio Amateurs Join Gota-Goti 2026
The Qatari Amateur Radio Society participated in the World Scout Jamboree "JOTTA-JOTI 2026," organized by Scouts and Guides around the world to enable participants to communicate via amateur radio stations and share scientific and technical knowledge. The society used the call sign "A71AJOTA" to enhance communication, and the event aimed to develop participants' skills in telecommunications and technology, as well as to document international cooperation in scouting and technical fields. The society's participation is part of its ongoing efforts to promote radio communication culture, strengthen Qatar's presence in global events, and develop young people's capabilities in technology and scouting.
