Qatar hosts final Confederations matches again
Qatar will organize the three final matches of the FIFA Club World Cup 2026 for the third consecutive year, from December 9 to 16, featuring prestigious clubs from around the world. The final match will be played between French team Paris Saint-Germain, reigning UEFA Champions League champions, and the winner of the Challenge Cup. These matches will determine the champions of three different cups: the Americas Derby, the Challenge Cup, and the Continental Cup. This underscores Qatar's ongoing status as a leading sports destination and its ability to host major international tournaments, supported by modern facilities and well-connected public transportation for easy access. These events are part of a packed sports season, which also includes hosting the FIFA Under-17 World Cup in Qatar from November 19 to December 13.
