2026 Green School Honors
The Ministry of Education and Higher Education, in collaboration with Seashore Group, honored the winning schools in the fifth edition of the Seashore Green School Award for the 2025–2026 academic year at a ceremony held in Doha under the slogan “Five Years of Impact.” A total of 65 schools competed—51 public and 14 private—and nine schools took the top places, equally distributed across the primary, preparatory and secondary stages. Lababa bint al-Harith Primary School for Girls, the Jordanian Schools in Qatar, and Qatar Technical Secondary School for Girls topped their respective stages. Rashid Anas and Falwa Al-Dosari were also honored as Student and Teacher Sustainability Ambassadors, respectively. Al-Shahaniya Preparatory School for Girls won the Best Device Award, after the award itself received the 2025 UNESCO Prize for Sustainable Education.
