The Arab League condemned the Houthi group’s attempt to target the Medina region of Saudi Arabia with a ballistic missile, describing it as a dangerous escalation, a violation of the Kingdom’s sovereignty and security, and an affront to the feelings of Muslims. In a statement issued in Cairo on November 6, the League warned that repeated attacks threaten the region’s security and stability and undermine efforts to contain the escalation. It affirmed its full solidarity with Saudi Arabia and its support for the Kingdom’s legitimate measures to protect its security, sovereignty, territorial integrity, and citizens.
