Qatar Denies Washington Post Claims
Qatar strongly denied the claims made by The Washington Post, which alleged there was coordination between Qatar and Iran regarding energy production decisions. The statement emphasized that these allegations are baseless and are based on false materials. The office clarified that Qatar's decision to declare force majeure on gas contracts was prompted by genuine security threats that endangered the safety of personnel. It also stated that the facility did not intentionally cause harm or undermine peace efforts in the region. Furthermore, Qatar reaffirmed its commitment to transparency and rejected any false accusations related to its policies in the energy sector.
