Israeli settlers simulated committing acts of violence against Palestinians, setting fire to two mosques in the West Bank, one of which was under construction, and writing racist slogans on their walls. The Palestinian presidency warned of the danger of these attacks, holding the occupation government responsible for the escalation of settler assaults, and called on the international community to intervene to protect Palestinians and put an end to these attacks. Arab and Gulf countries, led by the Gulf Cooperation Council, also condemned these crimes, holding the occupation responsible, and called for a halt to the escalation and condemnation of assaults on holy sites. Meanwhile, arrests and other assaults against Palestinians continue, as security conditions worsen in the affected areas, especially Gaza, which is experiencing repeated Israeli strikes.
