The Prime Minister of Yemen, Dr. Shayir Al-Zindani, affirmed that the government will continue to cooperate with the Saudi-led coalition supporting legitimacy, in coordination with the international community, to safeguard international maritime security, restore state institutions, and preserve Yemen's sovereignty. The meeting reviewed the government's plans to respond to any potential scenarios to ensure market stability, maintain the flow of imports, and secure a strategic stockpile of essential commodities, including food and fuel. They also discussed an emergency management plan aimed at increasing the government's readiness to confront any escalation or crisis and mitigate its security, economic, and humanitarian impacts. The meeting emphasized that the ongoing targeting of commercial ships and threats to navigation by the Houthi militia exacerbate the economic and humanitarian burdens on the Yemeni people and negatively affect regional and international security.
