The Royal Commission for Riyadh has announced the completion of the preliminary master plan for the area located northeast of the city, covering a total area of approximately 456 square kilometers. The site is situated near King Khalid Airport, Wadi Al-Salih, and the Dammam and Al-Jadhriyah roads. The goal of the plan is to regulate the growth of the area through a vision for future land use that envisions the development of integrated communities that combine housing, services, economic activities, and entertainment. It emphasizes achieving a balance between urban development and natural landscapes, as well as improving quality of life and enhancing green spaces. This plan represents an initial step within a long-term strategy for expanding Riyadh, with more detailed planning and development phases to be carried out by relevant authorities. It reflects the Commission’s commitment to organizing the city's expansion and developing its infrastructure to accommodate population and economic growth.
