Yemen Frontline Gains
Government forces regained positions in northern Lahij and two sites on the Al-Aqroudh front in Taiz, and repelled Houthi attacks. They also continued to consolidate their recaptured positions east of Al-Hazm city in Al-Jawf after taking control of the Huwaishian mountain range. The forces said they carried out 951 strikes over 24 hours as part of “Operation Dawn of Yemen,” claiming to have neutralized around 332 fighters and destroyed or disabled 56 vehicles and pieces of military equipment. These included Houthi reinforcements targeted at the Jabal Habashi junction in Taiz. The Presidential Leadership Council affirmed that the operation would continue until its objectives were achieved.
