The Saudi Camel Racing Federation has completed extensive development works at the Taif Racecourse, in preparation for the 2026 Crown Prince Camel Festival. The aim is to improve infrastructure and enhance the readiness of the racecourse for participants. The projects included the construction of an 11-kilometer training track connecting the race tracks, the supply and installation of more than 38,000 cubic meters of soil to rehabilitate the tracks at various lengths, as well as the creation of five new start gates to increase capacity. Development work is ongoing to upgrade the 6-kilometer track and pave the main entrance, ensuring the festival maintains its status as one of the most prominent camel racing events nationally and internationally.
