Saudi Airlines announced its plan to train and graduate 300 Saudi pilots by the end of 2027 through the "Future Pilots" program and the "Waaed" initiative. This aims to boost localization rates in the aviation profession and support the growth of its fleet, which currently has an order for up to 280 aircraft. This initiative aligns with the company's commitment to developing national talent and achieving the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 by empowering local competencies and establishing the Kingdom as a global aviation hub. The program seeks to prepare ambitious talents through academic and practical training, emphasizing professional progression towards the role of "Pilot," with a track record of high localization rates and supporting the sustainable growth of the national aviation industry.
