Saudi Arabia reaffirms Jerusalem's status
During a high-level interfaith dialogue conference in Rome, Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan reaffirmed the Kingdom's steadfast position in rejecting any change to Jerusalem's historic and legal status, emphasizing the importance of safeguarding its Islamic and Christian holy sites. He underlined that a just peace can only be achieved by halting provocations at Al-Aqsa Mosque and stopping the illegal settlement expansions that violate Palestinian rights. He also called for measures to hold those responsible for violations accountable. Additionally, he affirmed Saudi Arabia’s ongoing cooperation with partners to implement the American peace plan, which focuses on tolerance and peaceful coexistence.
