During his participation in a high-level interfaith dialogue meeting in Rome, Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan reaffirmed the Kingdom's rejection of all attempts to alter the historic and legal status of Jerusalem and its Islamic and Christian holy sites. He emphasized the importance of interfaith dialogue in fostering a just and sustainable peace and warned against the ongoing provocations and attacks at Al-Aqsa Mosque, which heighten tensions and undermine prospects for peace. He also called for an end to terrorist settler activities against Palestinians, considering that illegal settlement expansion violates Palestinian rights and threatens security and stability. He confirmed Saudi Arabia’s cooperation with the international community to implement peace plans in line with United Nations resolutions, with a focus on promoting peaceful coexistence and tolerance.
